NETWORKING

Our member base is largely connected to the tech and the telecom industry, but our members also consist of a broad range of more traditional industries that is representative of Texas. Our members range from university students to business owners and employees. We aim to provide our members with different kinds of opportunities to network and create new business connections. We offer an agenda of seminars, educational and social networking events, as well as opportunities to develop and expand business relationships. Our events are often in cooperation with our Enterprise and SME members and sponsors.

We also offer our members a Mentorship Program where we link ambitious professionals with knowledgeable professionals and entrepreneurs. In addition to this, we have a Young Professionals section (for members under 35) where we aim to connect students and professionals at the beginning or midpoint of their careers with people of the same age and situation.

EVENTS

Our members are invited to SACC’s events (subsidized for members), such as business dinners with guest speakers, professional seminars and networking events, happy hours, social and cultural get-togethers, etc.  

BUSINESS MATCHMAKING

We connect you with qualified individuals within our extensive network that can provide you with professional services, such as attorneys, bankers, lawyers, advertising specialists, etc.

CONTACTS

Our members get access to a forum to discuss experiences and best practices on subjects of interest and to contacts both within our network in Texas as well as through SACC-USA.

MARKETING & EXPOSURE

Being a member of the unique network of SACC and participating in events arranged by SACC, you will have the opportunity to meet and establish valuable contacts.

Not only within the Swedish community but also through their network in turn, as well as the opportunity to meet with other local decision-makers in Texas. A network of useful contacts may be the best investment when doing business.

MEMBERSHIP LEVELS

As a Swedish American Chamber in Texas member, you are entitled to discounted prices for a series of add-on services to tailor your membership. The Chamber’s Texas associates are here to assist if you need help finding suitable trainees for your organization, doing marketing research, or redesigning your company logo or website. Should there be anything else we can do for you other than what is listed here, please ask us, as we can probably work something out.

For businesses with more than 20 employees. As an Enterprise Member, you can have up to three representatives, of which one is the main member.

For businesses with less than 20 employees. As an SME Member, you can have up to two representatives, of which one is the main member.

Above the age of 35. If the company you work for is an Enterprise- or SME Member, but you are not one of their two or three representatives, respectively, you are welcome to join us as an Individual Member.

Below the age of 35.

We are very privileged to have several non-residents as supporters of our Chamber. Many have strong ties to our Chamber, with a past as local members here in Texas. Others are living in one of our neighbor states, Louisiana, Arkansas or Oklahoma, where we have a special interest in expanding our network.
