Nordic APIs To Host Austin API Summit

High Quality API Event Series Visits Austin To Emphasize Global API Design Practices

On June 11 – 13, Nordic APIs will host their second API event in the USA, modeled after their successful event series in Europe. During this two and a half-day conference in Austin, Texas, they will bring together API practitioners and enthusiasts to talk about developing and sustaining a thriving API-first organization.

Nordic APIs is a community of API practitioners, helping companies make smarter technology decisions using APIs. They do this by publishing high quality articles with technology advice every week, and by hosting API-focused events.

“Learning from the success of our Platform Summit in Stockholm, we are applying the same quality of event curation to the United States,” says Simon Andersson, COO of Nordic APIs.

From assessing API definition formats, implementing security protocols, learning new microservices architecture strategies
to determining what makes a successful API business venture, the speakers will highlight many aspects of API practice for the modern enterprise.

“If you are new to Nordic APIs events, you’ll be happy to find a high-standard API conference with carefully curated speakers. We cater to many aspects of maintaining an API-first platform,” Andersson says.

Nordic APIs was founded in 2013, and since then, organized more than 20 API events in Europe and the USA. The Austin API Summit, which will be held at Palmer Events Center, is the first Nordic APIs event in Austin, Texas.

“We know that we have a lot of blog readers in the US, and a lot of them live in Austin and San Francisco. We chose Austin because it’s a rapidly growing city with a lot of interesting tech companies. We’re super excited to host an event there,” Andersson explains.

Registration is now open.
