MEMBERSHIP IN SACC TEXAS

We offer our members several different programs and services:

• A Swedish network. The opportunity to meet with representatives from Swedish government and industry and access a network of almost 2,500 members of the 18 state and regional chambers of SACC. We also provide a link to associated Chambers of Commerce in Sweden.

• Guest speakers. We invite guest speakers for interesting presentations relating to Swedish American trade and relations.

• International mixers. We participate as co-sponsors in events organized by other European Chambers.

• Newsletters. The SACC-Texas Newsletter and annual Membership directory, and Currents, the quarterly newsletter of the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce, USA Inc.  

• Trade leads. Access to trade leads and information to help you develop your export/import business or establish your business in Sweden or USA.

You can send your application by completing the separate "Membership application form". In your application you should specify the region you want to belong to, Austin, Dallas or Houston. Each region arranges its own meetings although we also arrange joint events to create broader networking opportunities. As a member in SACC Texas, you may of course participate in any events organized at the three locations.

We offer several different levels of membership

Corporate Member (Businesses with more than 20 employees)

The Corporate Membership is the highest level of membership. As a Corporate member you can have up to three representatives at your location. Each representative will receive our newsletter and Directory. Your company will have a link at our web-page, You will also be informed on a regular basis about Swedish-American business contacts developed through the SACC-Texas offices and network.

Business Member (Businesses with less than 20 employees)

The Business membership is offered to small businesses only. As a Business member you can have a maximum of two representatives. Each representative will receive our newsletter and Directory. Your company will have a link at our web-page, You will also be informed on a regular basis about Swedish-American business contacts developed through the SACC-Texas offices and network. Individuals are also welcome to join to receive additional benefits and receive more extensive information.

Individual Member

As an individual member, you will receive our newsletters and directory. We also send you all notifications about local meetings and also receive information by e-mail regarding events in the other Texas locations with full rights to participate in all activities.

Non Resident

We are very privileged to have several non-residents as supporters of our chamber. Many of them have strong ties to our chamber with a past as local members here in Texas. Others are living in one of our neighbor states, Louisiana, Arkansas or Oklahoma - states where we have a special interest in expanding our network. Our discounted membership fee allows us to continue sending our newsletters and annual directory in addition to regular updates on Texas and Texas-Sweden events by e-mail.

Student Member

As a student member, you are entitled to all the benefits of the Individual Member. We find it increasingly important to attract young members to our organization, for continued growth and development of our network. The membership is available to full-time students less than 25 years old. This is an excellent way of building valuable contacts for young professionals.
